Privacy Policy
Effective June 10, 2026
Oint is a shop operating app for appointments, clients, payments records, booking pages, and AI assistance. This policy explains what data the app collects and how it is used.
What Oint Collects
- Account information, such as your Apple account identifier, name, and email address.
- Shop information, such as business name, phone number, address, opening hours, staff, services, products, prices, photos, and booking page settings.
- Client and appointment information that you enter, such as client names, phone numbers, emails, notes, bookings, visit history, packages, sales, expenses, refunds, and payment method labels.
- Assistant content, such as the messages you type or dictate to Oint AI, recent conversation context, and the shop data needed to answer or perform your request.
- Technical data needed to run the service, such as authentication tokens, server logs, request metadata, and basic diagnostics.
How Oint Uses Data
- To create and manage your shop account, booking page, appointments, clients, services, team members, and business records.
- To provide Oint AI features, including answering questions about your day, searching client history, creating appointments, and helping with money workflows.
- To process subscriptions through Apple's StoreKit system and unlock paid features in the app.
- To maintain security, prevent abuse, debug issues, and keep the service reliable.
- To provide support when you contact us.
Service Providers
- Oint uses Supabase for authentication, database, storage, realtime sync, and serverless functions.
- Oint uses OpenAI to power assistant responses and action reasoning. Assistant requests may include the prompt, recent assistant context, and relevant shop/client/appointment records needed to complete the request.
- Oint may use Apple services for Sign in with Apple, StoreKit subscriptions, speech recognition, and App Store distribution.
- Oint may use Google Places data when you choose to import public business information from Google Maps.
Photos, Voice, and AI
- Photos you upload or import for your shop may be stored and displayed on your public booking page if the page is published.
- Hold-to-talk uses Apple's speech tools to turn your voice into text. Oint does not intentionally store raw voice recordings, but dictated text can be submitted to Oint AI when you send it.
- Do not enter sensitive information that you do not want processed by the assistant.
Sharing
- Oint does not sell personal data and does not use collected app data for third-party advertising tracking.
- Published booking pages intentionally share public shop information, services, prices if enabled, photos, and availability with people who visit the page.
- We may disclose information if required by law, to protect users, or to operate the service through the providers listed above.
Retention and Deletion
- You can delete your account from Account settings in the Oint app. Deletion removes your shop account and associated shop data unless we are legally required to retain limited records.
- Some backups, logs, or provider records may take additional time to expire from infrastructure.
- Deleting the Oint app from your device does not delete your account. Use the in-app Delete account option or contact support.
Your Choices
- You can edit or delete clients, appointments, services, staff, photos, and shop settings in the app.
- You can control whether your booking page is published and whether prices are shown.
- You can manage or cancel subscriptions through your Apple ID subscription settings.
Contact
- For privacy or support questions, email support@oint.app.
- We may update this policy as Oint changes. The latest version will always be posted here.
